We’re looking at ways to help out in the local community this year and will be trying different things to see how we can best add value to some of the most important charities in the local area.
This month we are focussing on Restore, an Oxfordshire mental health charity that supports people to take control of their recovery, develop skills, and lead meaningful lives. Restore offer recovery groups, training and employment coaching to make this possible.
Restore are one of the longest-established, and most highly-regarded community rehabilitation services in the UK. Founded in 1977 and are part of a partnership of local mental health organisations with a commitment to helping people to recover, stay well and participate in and contribute to the life of our county.
In our opinion, mental health is still one of the most important parts of our society that isn’t properly addressed or supported through our health services and Restore do an amazing job of supporting individuals on a path to recovery. Mental Health is close to our hearts here as we are sure it is to most, with ill mental health affecting around 25% of us in our life times.
We’re asking our customers to make a donation with their purchase from Oxford Vapours and will be offering this in our Abingdon & Witney shops as well as online.
You will find the donation form on your checkout and basket pages and you can add either a £1, £2.50 or £5 donation. Oxford Vapours will add £1 to every donation and 100% of proceeds will go directly to the charity.
