Subscriptions – How they work

We have now added the ability to create subscriptions from products, or groups of products on the website. We are delighted to be able to offer this as we feel it will save a lot of people a lot of time.


What Products are available on subscription?

We are starting by making a selection of the most popular products from the most reliable suppliers available on subscription. Our priority is to make sure that we have the products available when you need them, so only products that are a part of our core offering will be available.

However, in the case of a supply issue we will inform the customer of the problem and come to a solution that suits both parties.

We plan on adding more products from these brands as the feature grows in popularity and we iron out any teething issues that may arise.


How do I set up a subscription?

You can find all the products that are available on subscription in the available on subscription category, or by navigating with the pop out menu with the button in the top right of your browser – alternatively, products that are available on subscription also say as much on the product preview in the general catalogue.

Once you are on a product page, you will see the option to change the purchase from a ‘one time purchase’ to a ‘subscription’. You can add multiple ‘subscriptions to the same basket to combine them into a single, rolling subscription.


How will I receive my subscription?

This is an important part to consider as the subscription will be set up to recur with the same shipping method as the primary order, so please choose the delivery method that you want to receive for the duration of your product subscription.


How often will I receive a subscription?

We currently have subscriptions set up to recur on a one month (4 week) basis. Your first order will be processed and dispatched in the usual immediate fashion and your subsequent orders will follow a month after. Please bear in mind that postage times will be additional.

Failed payments will be automatically retried, but failure to complete a payment means that we will not be able to complete the order.

We may add shorter subscription periods in the future – if this is something you would like to see, please email us to let us know.


How do subscriptions get paid?

Your subscription payment will recur using the same payment method that you use when you place the initial order, so please ensure to select the most appropriate card or account. You can also set up a subscription using Paypal. If you have any problems regarding payment, please email or call us.


How long will my subscription last?

Your subscription will recur until it is cancelled – you can do this at any point from within your account dashboard.
